MORE ABOUT ME...

I joined this wiki because:

The best word to describe me is: Horse Crazy

Interests: Horses and Photography

Favorite movies: Really anything with horses... as long as the people are compassionate towards them.

Favorite TV shows: I don't watch much tv.

My hero(es): All of the horses I've owned and handled over the years that have taught me so much. As far as people go, I know so many wonderful people. It's unfair to pic only a few and disregard the others.

My superpower is: Patience and compassion

If I could live anywhere, it would be: Montana in the warmer months, but I really like the Arizona winters.

My dream job(s): I would like to own my own tack store.

What else you should know about me: As you might have guessed, I'm a horse person through and through. I eat sleep and breath horses 24 hours a day every day. Many days I swear I try to cram in 25 hours.

Though I had avoided it for many years because I was offended by the commercialism, I was introduced to natural horsemanship about 7 years ago. Because I had always handled horses using common sense techniques and compassion I feel like I "got it" pretty quickly. Once I gained an understanding that natural horsemanship was more about communication and feel, rather than about using a certain halter or bit I was sold hook line and sinker.

Now, it's how I handle every horse I approach every day.
